Heimbach Switzerland AG, a subsidiary of Albany International Corp. (AIN), has announced plans to consult with employee representatives concerning a proposal to cease manufacturing activities in Olten, Switzerland. The intention is to relocate production to other Heimbach GmbH facilities. This decision impacts 83 employees, who will be provided with severance packages and support for career transition.

If the plan receives approval, it will allow the Albany's Heimbach GmbH division to adjust its paper machine clothing production capacity to better match regional market demands. This proposed reduction will comply with applicable local legal requirements.
