In March 2025, Romania's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate slightly declined to 5.5%, a minor decrease from 5.6% the preceding month. The count of unemployed individuals dropped by 3,800, totaling 453,100. Among men, the unemployment rate decreased marginally from 5.7% in February to 5.6%, whereas for women, it saw a slight increase from 5.3% to 5.4%. Comparatively, in March 2024, the unemployment rate was lower, recorded at 5.2%.
