Ireland's AIB Manufacturing PMI slipped to 53.2 in July 2025 from June's 53.7, which had been the highest level recorded since May 2022. While this indicates the seventh month in a row of expansion, the growth rate has moderated. The rise in new orders for the seventh consecutive month and strong employment growth underpin this expansion. Export sales showed slight growth for the first time since March, though they faced challenges owing to persistently high global economic uncertainty.
