A significant downturn was noted in the economic outlook, which plunged by 5.8 points to 102.2. Similarly, predictions for households' future financial conditions decreased by 4.6 points, settling at 87.8. On a more positive note, there was an increase in the intended purchases of durable goods, which climbed by 3.4 points to 85.5, achieving its highest level since August. Meanwhile, the Current Situation Index also showed a downturn, declining by 0.8 points to 82.6, marking its second straight decrease. Within this category, perceptions of the present local economy improved, increasing by 1.4 points to 95.5. However, the evaluation of households' current financial state fell by 2.9 points, reaching 70.1. When considering the three-month moving average, overall confidence saw a slight increase of 0.1 point, bringing it to 88.4.
