FX.co ★ Mongolia Q4 GDP Growth Strongest in 7 Quarters

Mongolia’s economy grew by 6.8% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2025, up from 5.9% in the previous quarter. This was the fastest pace of expansion since the first quarter of 2024, supported by solid gains in mining and quarrying (1.4% vs. 1.1% in Q3) and in industry and construction (1.5% vs. 1.1%). Growth in the services sector also picked up (1% vs. 0.6%), led in particular by transportation. By contrast, agricultural growth eased (2.9% vs. 3.4%). On a seasonally adjusted quarter-on-quarter basis, GDP rose 0.7% in Q4, moderating from a 1.4% increase in the previous period.
