The index mirrored a rebound in US equities, supported by gains in technology and software stocks, where renewed enthusiasm for AI-focused companies has improved broader market sentiment and helped tech indices recoup earlier losses. Early gainers on the Sensex included Aditya Infotech (+8.6%), Vedanta (+3.5%), Steel Authority of India (+2.5%), Tata Consultancy Services (+2.3%), and Infosys (+2.2%). Separately, the Reserve Bank of India emphasized the strength and ongoing improvement of India’s economic trajectory, citing resilient growth momentum and supportive conditions for both investors and businesses.
