New Zealand’s exports rose 15.4% year-on-year to NZD 6.66 billion in August 2026, following a downwardly revised 10.8% increase in July. The expansion was primarily driven by higher shipments of milk powder, butter, and cheese (up 7.6%); meat and edible offal (up 23%); and precious metals, jewellery, and coins (up 53%).
