The XAUUSD 15 minute chart displays a clear multi day bullish trend that began after a strong demand zone was established around the 3,950 to 3,970 area in the preceding week. Price has since produced a series of higher highs and higher lows, culminating in a fresh all time high near 4,100 earlier in the current session. A significant change of character (CHoCH) occurred when price broke and closed above the previous supply zone at approximately 4,066 to 4,070, converting that former resistance into new support. This level is currently marked by a 15 minute bullish order block (the last down close candle before the aggressive upward displacement) and coincides with the 50% retracement of the most recent impulsive leg. The chart also shows two clear internal range liquidity pools: one below the Asian session low (4,022 to 4,025) and another above the previous all time high (4,100). External range liquidity rests above 4,100 (equal highs) and below the major swing low at 3,950. Price is experiencing a deep retracement following the strong rally that took out the 4,100 liquidity. The decline has already swept the internal range liquidity below the Asian low (4,022.260 volume profile node) and is now approaching the premium order block and equilibrium level at 4,066 to 4,070. Volume profile analysis confirms high volume nodes at 4,066 and 4,040, indicating institutional interest and potential reversal zones. The presence of an inverted market maker buy model (IDM) is evident: price ran stops above 4,100 (external range liquidity), reversed sharply, and is now seeking liquidity below the range before a potential continuation higher. Momentum indicators on the lower panel show extreme oversold conditions, while the price action has formed a 15 minute fair value gap between 4,070 and 4,080 that remains unfilled, adding confluence for a bullish resolution.
