Croatia Producer Prices Stall in March

In March 2025, Croatia's producer prices remained unchanged from the previous month, which had experienced a 0.5% increase. Prices showed a slowdown across several categories: non-durable consumer goods saw a moderation to 2.1% from February's 2.6%, intermediate goods dropped to 1.5% compared to 1.7%, and durable consumer goods decreased to 0.8% from 1%. Meanwhile, energy costs experienced a further decline, falling by 3.4% as opposed to the earlier 2.3% decrease. Conversely, there was an acceleration in producer inflation for capital goods, rising to 2.2% from 1.7%. When excluding energy, producer prices growth eased to 1.8%, down from 2% in February. On a month-over-month basis, producer prices decreased by 0.4% in March, contrary to the 0.3% rise observed in the previous month.
