In February 2025, private house approvals in Australia saw a month-on-month increase of 1%, reaching 9,203 units. This result aligns with preliminary data but shows a slight decrease from the 1.4% growth observed in the previous month. Notably, this marks the second consecutive month of growth, primarily attributed to increases in regions such as New South Wales (5.1%), Queensland (0.5%), and Victoria (0.3%). Conversely, there were declines in Western Australia (-8.5%) and South Australia (-1.9%).
