Danish Trade Surplus Narrows in February

In March 2025, Denmark's seasonally adjusted trade surplus for goods and services decreased to DKK 25.7 billion, down from a revised DKK 30.5 billion in February. This change was largely due to a 2.7% month-over-month drop in exports, which totaled DKK 172.4 billion, primarily driven by a significant decline of 5.1% in goods exports. In contrast, service exports saw a modest increase of 1%. On the import side, there was a slight rise of 0.1% to DKK 146.7 billion, largely attributed to a 0.8% increase in services imports, even as goods imports fell by 0.6%.
