Poland's unemployment rate increased to 5.5% in August 2025, up from 5.4% in July, aligning with market expectations. This rise represents the highest unemployment level since February 2023, with the number of registered unemployed individuals rising by 25,500 compared to the previous month, reaching a total of 856,300. In contrast, the jobless rate in August of the previous year stood at a lower 5.0%.
