Bulgaria's business confidence indicator experienced a decline, reaching 14.6 in November 2025, down from 15.5 in October, representing its lowest level since March. Evaluations of the present business landscape deteriorated (17.0 compared to 17.8 in October), along with a slight decrease in expectations for production activity (5.6 compared to 5.9) and employment (2.1 compared to 4.0) over the forthcoming three months. Anticipations for business conditions in the next six months also waned (12.2 compared to 13.2), while apprehension about order levels persisted (-15.7 compared to -18.5). The uncertain economic climate (45.6 compared to 44.9) and labor shortages (33.6 compared to 36.0) remained significant challenges for industrial operations. In the meantime, selling prices are projected to experience a slight increase in the coming months, with the balance indicator rising to 10.8 from 9.3 in October.
