Ireland Property Prices Rise 7% in December

Residential property prices in Ireland rose by 7% year-on-year in December 2025, following an upwardly revised 6.8% increase in November. House prices maintained a growth rate of 6.7%, while apartment prices accelerated, rising 8.5% compared with 7.3% in the previous month. In Dublin, residential property prices were up 5.6% year-on-year, after a 5.2% increase in November, whereas prices outside Dublin grew by 8.1%, easing slightly from 8.2%. Within Dublin, the strongest house price growth was recorded in Dublin City at 7%, while Fingal registered a more moderate rise of 3.7%. The highest median dwelling price was in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown at €679,999, and the lowest was in Donegal at €195,000. On a monthly basis, residential property prices increased 0.7% in December, following an upwardly revised 0.4% gain in November.
