Israeli Consumer Sentiment Climbs in February as PCSI Index Breaks Above 50

The Thomson Reuters IPSOS Primary Consumer Sentiment Index (PCSI) for Israel strengthened in February 2026, rising to 51.42 from 47.74 in January 2026 on a month-over-month basis. The latest reading, updated on 12 February 2026, marks a move back above the 50-point threshold, often interpreted as the line between net pessimism and net optimism among consumers.

The February improvement follows a weaker January print, with the “Actual” figure reflecting the change from January to February, while the “Previous” comparison captures how January’s sentiment shifted from December. The rebound suggests that Israeli consumers entered February with a more constructive view of current and future economic conditions than at the start of the year, according to the PCSI framework.
