Latvia’s Producer Price Growth Edges Up to 1.2% YoY in January 2026

Latvia’s producer price inflation gathered slight momentum at the start of the year, with the Producer Price Index (PPI) rising 1.2% year-on-year in January 2026. The latest reading, updated on 20 February 2026, marks an acceleration from December 2025, when producer prices were up 1.0% compared with the same month a year earlier.

The data are compiled on a year-over-year basis, meaning January’s 1.2% figure reflects the change in prices received by Latvian producers compared with January of the previous year, while December’s 1.0% measure compared prices to December a year earlier. The modest uptick suggests a slightly stronger price environment for Latvian producers as 2026 begins, following the more subdued pace seen at the end of 2025.
