Vietnam Tourist Arrivals Rise 17.7% YoY in February

International arrivals to Vietnam increased 18.5% year-on-year to 2.23 million in February 2026, matching the 18.5% expansion recorded in the previous month. The growth was supported by new visa policies, more innovative promotion and marketing campaigns, a broader range of tourism products, and improvements in service quality.

Arrivals from Asia rose 7.9%, driven by strong gains from China (21.6%), South Korea (2.9%), and Cambodia (29.3%), with particularly robust growth from the Philippines (68.4%), India (62.2%), and Singapore (18.2%).

Visitors from the Americas grew 21.3%, led by the US (20.9%) and Canada (22.9%). In Europe, arrivals surged 76.7%, with sharp increases from Russia (232.9%) and solid growth from the UK (12.1%), France (15.3%), and Germany (17.1%). Tourist numbers from Australia climbed 18%, while arrivals from Africa advanced 16.3%.

On a month-on-month basis, total international arrivals declined 9.2%. Even so, in the first two months of the year, total tourist arrivals rose 18.1% to 4.68 million.
