FX.co ★ Pound Climbs Following U.K. CPI, PPI

At 2.00 am ET Wednesday, the Office for National Statistics has released UK consumer and producer prices for March. The pound rose against its major counterparts after the data.

The pound was trading at 163.53 against the yen, 1.2134 against the franc, 0.8329 against the euro and 1.3020 against the greenback around 2:02 am ET.
