In March 2025, Belgium witnessed a decline in its business confidence index, which fell by 2.8 points to reach -15.1, marking its lowest point since January 2024. This decline was evident across all surveyed sectors except for the trade sector. The most notable decrease was observed in the business-related services sector, which plummeted from -1.9 in February to -7.6. Manufacturing also experienced a downturn, sliding from -15.6 to -18, while the construction sector's confidence dropped to -10.1 from the previous -7.2.
