Czech Republic Forex Reserves at Near 3-Year High

Foreign exchange reserves in the Czech Republic rose to $156.3 billion in April 2025, recovering from a six-month low and an adjusted figure of $151.1 billion in the prior month. This increase represents the highest level recorded since May 2022. Growth was observed across all sub-categories, including foreign currency reserves, which climbed to $145.7 billion from $142.8 billion in March. The IMF reserve position also saw a rise, reaching $0.83 billion from $0.73 billion. Additionally, Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) increased to $3.5 billion from $3.4 billion, and gold reserves expanded to $6.25 billion from $5.56 billion.
