In March 2025, Spain's current account surplus decreased to €1.421 billion, compared to €4.967 billion in the same month last year. The surplus in goods and services declined to €3.263 billion from €5.931 billion, while the deficit in primary and secondary income expanded to €1.842 billion, up from €0.964 billion.
