In the first quarter of 2025, Argentina experienced an increase in its unemployment rate, reaching 7.9% compared to 6.4% in the preceding period. This represents the highest unemployment level since the third quarter of 2021. Concurrently, the employment rate saw a decline, dropping to 44.4% from 45.7% in the previous quarter. The labor force participation rate also decreased slightly, settling at 48.2% from 48.8%.
