In June 2025, Bahrain experienced a 0.4% year-on-year decline in consumer prices, slightly improving from a 1.0% decrease in May. This represents the third month of deflation in succession, though at a more moderate rate. The primary factor was a reduction in the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages, which decreased by 3.6%, compared to a sharper 9% drop the previous month. Month-over-month, consumer prices increased by 0.9%, counteracting the 0.3% decline observed in May.
