North Macedonia Producer Inflation Eases to 4.1%

In October 2025, North Macedonia experienced a decrease in its annual producer inflation rate, dropping to 4.1% from September's 4.5%. This marks the lowest rate since September 2024, driven by moderated price hikes across all major sectors. Specifically, energy prices increased by 6.1%, down from 7.3% in the previous month, while prices for intermediate goods, excluding energy, rose by 1.9% compared to 1.8%. The rate for capital goods saw a decline to 8% from 9.3%, and consumer goods prices were slightly lower, at 3.4% compared to 3.6%. Within consumer goods, prices for durable items fell notably by 2%, contrasting with a previous rise of 1.9%, while prices for non-durable goods remained stable at 3.8%. On a month-to-month comparison, producer prices recorded a 0.3% increase, following a 0.5% rise in September.
