FX.co ★ Lithuania Current Account Swings to Surplus

In November 2025, Lithuania's current account recorded a surplus of 143.24 million euros, marking a notable turnaround from the 138.28 million euro deficit observed in the same month the previous year. The surplus in the services account increased significantly, reaching 758.53 million euros compared to the prior 576.22 million euros. Concurrently, the secondary income balance shifted to a 31.95 million euro surplus, a marked improvement from last year's 38.32 million euro deficit. Furthermore, the primary income deficit decreased to 123.72 million euros, down from 227.25 million euros. However, the goods account deficit expanded to 523.52 million euros from the previous 448.93 million euros, as the growth in imports continued to surpass that of exports.
