According to belated reports from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, US export prices rose by 3.3% year-on-year in November 2025. The data for October was unavailable due to the US government shutdown that occurred last fall. Agricultural export prices experienced a 2.6% increase, largely due to higher costs for vegetables, nuts, and fruit. Meanwhile, nonagricultural export prices rose by 3.3%, with significant contributions from increased prices of nonagricultural industrial supplies and materials, capital goods, and consumer goods. Over the two months leading up to November 2025, US export prices climbed by 0.5%, driven by the rise in agricultural exports (1.3%) and nonagricultural exports (0.4%). The Bureau of Labor Statistics was unable to collect survey data for October 2025 as a result of funding interruptions.
