In November 2025, Brazil's IBC-Br economic activity index experienced a significant rise of 0.7% compared to the previous month. This recovery came after a revised decline of 0.1% in October and exceeded market expectations, which had predicted a growth of 0.3%. This increase represents the most substantial growth since March 2025, primarily fueled by the industrial sector, which rose by 0.8% after a 0.9% decline in October, and the services sector, which grew by 0.6% following a 0.1% increase. Conversely, the agricultural and livestock sectors saw a decrease in output, falling by 0.3% compared to a 1.6% rise previously. Unadjusted for seasonal variation, the IBC-Br index also rose by 1.2% compared to November 2024.
