In December 2025, Malaysia's exports surged by 10.4% compared to the previous year, reaching a record MYR 153 billion. This growth, which picked up pace from November's 7.0% increase and outperformed market predictions of a 2.4% rise, was primarily fueled by manufactured goods. Within this category, shipments of electrical and electronic products experienced a significant boost, jumping by 25.3%.
