In December 2025, Estonia witnessed a 0.5% decrease in producer prices compared to the same month the previous year, contrasting with the seven-month peak of 1.1% growth observed in November. The easing of producer inflation was notable in the mining and quarrying sectors, where it reduced to 2.6% from November's 6.3%. Manufacturing costs remained largely unchanged, following a modest 0.2% increase, mainly due to a decline in prices for fuel oil manufacturing and electricity and heat energy production. There was a significant decrease in prices for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply, plummeting by 8.2% from the previous 10.7%. Meanwhile, costs associated with water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities remained stable at 1.8%. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices fell by 1.1% in December, reaching a six-month low after rising by 0.2% in the previous month.
