The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Hong Kong held steady at 3.8% for the quarter concluding in December 2025, maintaining this rate for the third straight month. The number of individuals unemployed decreased by 6,200, totaling 138,200, while overall employment slightly decreased by 2,900 to 3.67 million. Unemployment among young adults aged 20–29 improved, dropping to 7.1% from 7.6% in November, marking its lowest point since June 2025.
