FX.co ★ US Corporate Profits Revised Higher in Q3

In the third quarter of 2025, corporate profits in the United States experienced a 4.7% increase from the prior period, reaching $3.412 trillion. This figure surpassed preliminary estimates of 4.4%. Net cash flow, inclusive of inventory valuation adjustments, increased by 6%, up from the early estimate of 5.8%. Undistributed profits saw a significant rise of 14.9%, compared to the initial forecast of 14%, while net dividends showed a modest increase of 0.1%, consistent with the earlier estimate. When compared to the same period in the previous year, corporate profits surged by 10.8%.
