In November 2025, industrial production in Cyprus experienced a significant year-on-year increase of 8.5%, following an upward revision of the previous month's growth to 4.0%. This represents the most substantial growth since May 2022. The rise was largely driven by a surge in output within the mining and quarrying sector, which jumped to 32.5% from 6.2% in October, and in manufacturing, which increased to 9.6% from 4.8%. Notably, there were robust performances in the production of non-metallic mineral products, machinery and equipment, motor vehicles and other transport equipment, as well as in furniture, other manufacturing activities, and the repair and installation of machinery and equipment. Although electricity supply witnessed a decline, it was at a reduced rate of -0.9% compared to -3.4% previously. Conversely, growth in water supply and materials recovery slowed to 4.7% from 7.4%. Over the January to November 2025 period, Cyprus's industrial output was up by 3.7% when compared to the same period the previous year.
