FX.co ★ Nigeria Inflation Rate Keeps Slowing for 10th Month

Nigeria’s annual inflation rate edged down to 15.10% in January 2026 from 15.15% in December, marking the tenth consecutive month of decline and the lowest level since November 2020. Food inflation, the largest component of the inflation basket, also fell for the sixth straight month, dropping to 8.89% from 10.84% in December.
