Saudi Arabia’s economy posted a modest acceleration at the end of 2025, with gross domestic product growing 4.90% year-on-year in the fourth quarter, up from 4.80% in the third quarter of 2025. The latest data, updated on 1 February 2026, indicates a slight strengthening in the kingdom’s growth momentum as the year drew to a close.

Both figures are based on year-over-year comparisons, measuring how output in each quarter evolved relative to the same quarter a year earlier. The incremental uptick from the third to the fourth quarter suggests that underlying activity continued to improve, adding to signs of stable, if gradual, expansion in the Saudi economy heading into 2026.
