Indonesia’s export sector staged a strong recovery at the end of 2025, with December exports rising 11.64% year-over-year, reversing a sharp decline recorded a month earlier.

According to data updated on 2 February 2026, the December 2025 export growth figure represents a marked turnaround from November 2025, when exports had contracted by 6.60% compared to the same month a year earlier. The figures are presented on a year-over-year basis, with each month’s performance measured against the corresponding month of the previous year.
