According to the latest figures updated on 30 January 2026, the growth rate was unchanged from the previously recorded 3.8% in the same quarter of 2025, indicating stable momentum rather than an acceleration or slowdown.

On a year-over-year basis, the “actual” reading for the fourth quarter matches the “previous” comparison period, which also measured a 3.8% increase against the corresponding quarter a year earlier. This suggests that, while Hong Kong has avoided a loss of growth at the close of the year, it has yet to break out into a stronger expansion trend as it heads into 2026.
