Estonia’s GDP Growth Cools to 0.7% in Q4 2025, Easing from 0.9% Pace

Estonia’s economy expanded by 0.7% year-over-year in the fourth quarter of 2025, slowing slightly from the 0.9% growth recorded in the third quarter of 2025. The latest data, updated on 2 March 2026, indicate a modest loss of momentum at the end of the year, though the economy remains in positive territory.

Both readings are calculated on a year-over-year basis, comparing each quarter’s performance with the same period a year earlier. The Q3 2025 figure reflected a 0.9% increase versus the third quarter of the previous year, while the newly released Q4 2025 result shows a 0.7% rise compared with the fourth quarter a year earlier.

The slight deceleration suggests that while Estonia continues to post growth, the pace of expansion is softening as the economy moves into 2026. Investors and policymakers will be watching upcoming releases closely to assess whether this marks the beginning of a more prolonged moderation in activity or a temporary easing following earlier gains.
