The Polish economy grew by 4% year-on-year in the final quarter of 2025, confirming preliminary estimates and picking up from a 3.8% expansion in the previous quarter. This was the fastest pace of growth since the third quarter of 2022, supported by stronger household consumption (2.1% vs. 2% in Q3) and higher government spending (1.7% vs. 1.5%). Gross fixed capital formation also continued to increase, though at a slightly slower rate (1% vs. 1.1%). In contrast, net exports weighed on overall GDP growth. On a seasonally adjusted quarter-on-quarter basis, the economy expanded by 1% in Q4, up from 0.9% in Q3, marking the strongest quarterly performance of the year.
