Thailand’s Manufacturing Momentum Builds as March PMI Rises to 54.1

Thailand’s manufacturing sector extended its expansion in March 2026, with the Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) edging up to 54.10 from 53.50 in February. The latest reading, updated on 1 April 2026, signals a strengthening pace of growth in the country’s factory activity on a month-over-month basis.

The March uptick suggests that conditions in the manufacturing sector improved further compared with the previous month, underlining resilient demand and ongoing operational expansion. By contrast, February’s PMI of 53.50 had already reflected solid growth versus January, but the latest data indicates an additional incremental improvement heading into the second quarter.
