Frankfurt’s DAX 40 finished slightly higher on Tuesday, edging up to 24,067 and extending the strong rebound seen in the previous session. Sentiment remained cautious as investors weighed the uncertainty surrounding revived US–Iran negotiations and the prospect of a ceasefire extension, while also shifting focus toward the corporate earnings season on both sides of the Atlantic. At the same time, the US naval blockade of Iranian ports remained in force. Among individual stocks, Brenntag, Rheinmetall, and SAP led the gains, each advancing more than 2%. In contrast, Fresenius Medical Care (-2.4%), Fresenius SE & Co (-1.8%), BASF (-1.6%), and Continental (-1.5%) were the session’s weakest performers.
