Producer prices in Poland decreased by 0.8% year-on-year in March 2026, following a 2.3% decline in February, but remained above market expectations of a 0.1% drop. Deflationary pressures eased in manufacturing (-0.8% vs. -2.3% in February) and in the supply of electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning (-1.6% vs. -4.1%). At the same time, costs continued to rise in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (1.9% vs. 1.7%). In contrast, price growth in mining and quarrying slowed (0.2% vs. 1.2%). On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 1% in March, accelerating from an upwardly revised 0.4% in the previous month.
