Singapore’s Non-Oil Exports Growth Cools in May, Easing to 7.7% Month-on-Month

Singapore’s non-oil domestic exports (NODX) growth eased in May 2026, rising 7.70% month-on-month compared with a stronger 11.00% expansion recorded in April 2026.

The latest figures, updated on 17 June 2026, show that while exports continued to grow, the pace of month-on-month gains moderated from the previous period. In April, non-oil exports had climbed 11.00% from March, whereas May’s 7.70% increase represents a slower but still positive growth trajectory.

On a month-over-month basis, the data indicates that Singapore’s export sector remains in expansion, though momentum has softened slightly as May’s performance is measured directly against the robust gains posted in April.
