Italy’s construction output grew by 2.7% year-on-year in April 2026, slowing from a revised 3.0% increase in March. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, construction activity rose 0.3%, down from a revised 1.9% gain in the previous month. For the three-month period from February to April 2026, average construction output inched up 0.4% compared with the preceding quarter, while calendar-adjusted production was 1.6% higher than in the same period a year earlier.
