Producer prices in Luxembourg declined 4.5% year-on-year in May 2026, easing from a 5.4% drop in April and marking the tenth consecutive month of decreases. The slower rate of decline was driven by a moderation in deflation across key categories, including consumer goods (-12.5% vs. -13.6% in April), energy goods (-8.2% vs. -8.3%), and intermediate goods (-2.7% vs. -3.8%). In contrast, inflation for capital goods held steady at 1.7%. On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 0.8% in May, after a 1.2% increase in the previous month.
