FX.co ★ Slovenia Tourist Arrivals Up 1.9% in June

Tourist arrivals in Slovenia rose by 1.9% year-on-year to nearly 810,000 in June 2026, the highest level since August 2025, following a 10.1% increase in May. Foreign arrivals grew by 2.1% to 652,500, driven mainly by visitors from the Czech Republic (up 14.3%), Poland (up 15.2%), and the United Kingdom (up 26.1%), while arrivals from Germany and Austria declined by 16.9% and 9.1%, respectively. Domestic tourist arrivals increased by 1.1% to 157,500.

Overnight stays rose by 1.5% to around 2 million, with most tourists choosing mountain resorts (up 5.1%), health resorts (up 1.7%), and the capital (up 0.9%). In the first half of 2026, total tourist arrivals increased by 5.0% year-on-year to 2.941 million, and overnight stays were up 5.7% to 7.285 million.
