Turkish Tourism Revenues Drop 2.6% in Q2

Tourism revenues in Turkey declined by 2.6% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2026, falling to USD 15.9 billion. Of this total, individual expenditures amounted to USD 10.9 billion, while spending on package tours reached USD 4.7 billion.

Package tours accounted for the largest share of total tourism spending at 30.2%, followed by food and beverages at 21%, international transportation at 12.4%, and accommodation at 11.3%.

Compared with the same quarter a year earlier, expenditure on accommodation increased by 11.7%, and spending on food and beverages rose by 5.2%. In contrast, outlays on package tours fell by 5.5%, and transportation expenditures declined by 6.1%.
