Producer prices in the Czech Republic increased by 1.6% year-on-year in July 2026, up from 1.3% in June. This marked the fourth consecutive month of annual growth following fourteen months of decline. Prices for manufactured products rose by 3.2% (vs 2.8% in June), driven in particular by higher costs for basic metals (4.7% vs 3.1%) and machinery and equipment (1.2% vs 0.7%). At the same time, deflation in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning prices moderated slightly (-3.9% vs -4.4%). Price growth eased for mining and quarrying (1.9% vs 2.1%), while remaining unchanged for water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation services at 3.9%. On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 0.3% in July, recovering from a 0.4% decline in June.
