Estonia Producer Inflation Eases in July

Estonia’s producer prices increased by 3.5% year-on-year in July 2026, easing from a five-month high of 3.8% in June. Price growth decelerated in mining and quarrying (4.7% vs. 8.8% in June), as well as in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning, where it slowed sharply to 8.4% from 24.9% previously.

In contrast, producer price inflation in manufacturing accelerated to 3.5% from 2.6%, mainly reflecting higher prices for wearing apparel; wood and wood products; paper and paper products; coke and refined petroleum products; chemicals and chemical products; rubber and plastic products; other non-metallic mineral products; and computer, electronic, and optical products. Costs also rose at a faster pace in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities, where price growth picked up to 3.4% from 2.5% in June.

On a monthly basis, producer prices fell by 0.6% in July, following a 0.3% decline in the previous month.
