Palestine’s trade deficit widened to USD 521.3 million in June 2026, up from USD 388.4 million in the same month a year earlier. Exports increased by 74% year-on-year to USD 213.4 million, driven by a 79% surge in sales to Israel, which accounted for 96% of total exports. Shipments to other countries also rose, by 6%. Meanwhile, imports grew 44% to USD 734.7 million, reflecting a 63% increase in imports from Israel, which made up 62% of total imports. Purchases from other countries expanded by 20%. Over January–June, the trade deficit widened to USD 3,094.8 million from USD 2,710.4 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.
