New Zealand’s BusinessNZ Performance of Manufacturing Index slipped to 53.1 in August from 54.3 in July, marking the 22nd consecutive month of expansion and remaining above the long-term average of 52.5. This was the weakest result since May, as two of the five sub-indices continued to grow but at a slower pace.
